River Prairie Festival is a community event celebrating the 2025 season of programming in River Prairie Park and art in the Chippewa Valley! River Prairie Festival will take place on Mother's Day weekend, attracting visitors to River Prairie with events the whole family can enjoy.

2025 River Prairie Festival Schedule and event layout


River Prairie Center

7:30 - 8:15AM: Birding Walk - One walk, lasting 45 minutes. Walk will meet at the fireplace on the patio of the River Prairie Center.

10:30 - 11:30AM: How to Grow A Giant Pumpkin for Beginners Class presented by Shannon Engel

Noon: Cribbage Tournament - Day of Registration/Check-In begins at noon with the tournament beginning at 12:30PM.

10AM - 1:15PM: Rubber Ducky Race Sales at the Rubber Ducky Booth

10AM - 2PM: Scavenger Hunt- Registrations/Completion Check at the Information Booth

Cribbage Tournament

12:30 PM in the River Prairie Center

The tournament is 100% payout and open to ages 14 and up. Day of Registration/Check-In will begin at noon.
