River Prairie Festival is a community event celebrating the 2025 season of programming in River Prairie Park and art in the Chippewa Valley! River Prairie Festival will take place on Mother's Day weekend, attracting visitors to River Prairie with events the whole family can enjoy.

  • 10AM - 2PM: Pablo Center’s Robotics Team on Front Porch Place

  • 10AM - 4PM: Chalk Art- enjoy creating your own chalk masterpiece or help color in pre-stenciled pieces. There will be three stations along the park sidewalks!

  • 11AM - 3PM: Face Painting & Glitter Tattoos taking place on the Front Porch Plaza

  • 12PM - Supplies Last: Mother’s Day Potting and Planting taking place on the Front Porch Place

Cribbage Tournament

The tournament is 100% payout and open to ages 14 and up. Day of Registration/Check-In will begin at noon.

If you are just beginning or have always wanted to try the exciting hobby of giant pumpkin growing, stop by Shannon Engel’s booth, located within the Artist Market starting at noon, to purchase a pumpkin plant for $3!

10:30 - 11:30AM: How to Grow A Giant Pumpkin for Beginners Class will be taking place in the River Prairie Center.
